Prof. Narcis Cardona, director of the iTEAM Research Institute of the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia and 5G-Xcast WP1 leader, made an overview presentation of the 5G-Xcast project at the 5G FORUM in Malaga (Spain).
The 5G FORUM is the first national multidisciplinary event about 5G technology and applications that takes place in Spain.
Over two days, 25-26 April, the following topics were addressed from a 5G technology perspective: Internet-of-Things, Smart Cities, Connected Automobiles, Health and Telemedicine, Emergency Services, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Tourism, with key representatives of leading companies.
5G FORUM also had an agenda topic to present the most relevant Research Projects on 5G, where Prof. Cardona presented 5G-Xcast to a high-level professional audience.
